DAY 1 – Burana tower – Kochkor – Son kul lake

Depart towards Son Kul Lake.

First stop on the way is Burana Tower. We will have a short walk around the very famous ruins of the watch tower of the 9th century. We will visit museum where guide will tell you the story of this place and you can see ancient things, which were found during the excavation at the area. You will also go on top of the tower and can make nice shots with beautiful mountains behind.

After we continue our drive to the small town called Kochkor. Well known for its handicraft makers. We will have lunch here and visit local souvenir shop, where you can buy tons of national souvenirs by very reasonable price.
After lunch, we continue our trip to Son Kul lake. This alpine lake sits above 3000m and is surrounded by nomadic shepherds, looking after yaks, donkeys, goats and horses. After arrival to Son Kul lake, we have some free time to explore the area. Come close to the lake, or hike at the nearby mountains.

Dinner will be prepared at the yurt camp, where we will stay for overnight. 

DAY 2 – Son Kul – Issyk kul lake

In the morning we’ll have breakfast at Song Kul before saying goodbye and driving down to Kyrgyzstan’s other legendary lake – Issyk Kul. Here we’ll stay in another high-end yurt camp near the shores of the lake. We’ll have lunch at the accommodation and then head off to what promises to be one of the highlights of the trip – an eagle hunting demonstration, hosted by a world champion! We’ll be given a close-up experience of how man and eagle have worked together for centuries in Central Asia, and you will have the opportunity to pose for photos holding the eagle yourself. 

DAY 3 – Issyk Kul – Karakol

We’ll hit the road on an early start and start off the day’s adventures with a visit to Skazka Canyon, also known as Fairytale Canyon. This spectacular sandstone formation is like one giant playground for adults, and we’ll spend around an hour to climb all over the gorgeous canyon and take pictures of the rainbow-like formations.

Second amazing stop will be a Barskoon gorge with its waterfalls. We will have light hike to some of them

Afterwards we’ll continue on our way towards Jeti Oguz to get a gorgeous view of the Seven Bulls rock formation. In the late afternoon we’ll arrive in the cool town of Karakol, and check in to our awesome 3 star hotel. Dinner will be in an excellent local restaurant.

DAY 4 – Karakol – Bishkek

We depart from Karakol city to Bishkek after breakfast. On the way we will visit  the ancient petroglyphs spread out over hundreds of boulders in an open sky museum, and check out the new Rukh Ordo Cultural Centre.

For lunch we will stay in Cholpon Ata city at the Issyk kul lake.

And we will arrive to Bishkek in evening
