We are happy to announce the reservation for 2024 Joint summer tour to Kyrgyzstan!

Plan & Schedule of the trip

During the summer 2024 we are running 2 tours. The itinerarry is the same, the difference in just a month and the dates. So if you can`t join it in June, you can easily attend on July or August.

July 17-24, August 10-17 

Trip Highlights:

Bishkek city, Ala Archa National Park, Burana Tower, Son Kul lake, Issyk Kul lake, Ak Sai Canyons, Fairy Tale Canyons, Barskoon Gorge, Jety Oguz Gorge, Karakol City, Jyrgalan Village, Semenov Gorge, Grigoriev Gorge.

Itinerarry:

Day 1. Ala Archa Waterfall Treking 

We will have a group meeting at identified spot and time. Today we are heading to explore famous Ala Archa National Park and reach the waterfall during 4-5 hours hike. You will be provided with lunboxes, so you can enjoy your meal at a very picturesque place near with waterfall. 

Ala-Archa National Park is a first rate goal for each traveller, who comes to Kyrgyzstan. Likely one of the most visited spots. It isn’t a long way from the city, only 30 km from Bishkek.

After we return to the city we will have short excurtion around downtown of Bishkek city. In the end of this city tour we will have a group dinner at local restaurant.  

For overnight you will stay at very nice hotel in the city. 

Day 2. Bishkek – Son Kul lake

Today we are departing from our hotel toward  Son Kul lake you will visit local families who live a Sheppard lifestyle. They set up a yurt camps at the beginning of June and migrate all their cattle over 3400m mountain pass to spend the whole summer surrounded by beauty of the lake. 

You will also visit a UNESCO site an 11th century minaret called Burana Tower, and handicraft souvenir shop in Kochkor village, where the best handicraft producers sell their best national Kyrgyz souvenirs.  Lunch will also be held here in a local family.  After arrival and chek in at Song Kul lake  you may have Horse Riding (optional, around 10$ per person) experience to the panorama of the lake.

Overnight and dinner will be at nice yurt camp at the lake. 

Day 3.  Son Kul lake – Issyk Kul lake South Shore

In the morning we’ll have breakfast at Song Kul before saying goodbye and driving down to Kyrgyzstan’s other legendary lake – Issyk Kul. Here we’ll stay in another yurt camp near the shores of the lake, surrounded by Ak Sai canyons. After arrival we`ll head to explore beautifull canyons of Ak Sai also known as Canyons Of Forgotten Rivvers. The view is outstanding here.

Before dinner we will also enjoy off to what promises to be one of the highlights of the trip – an eagle hunting demonstration, hosted by a national champion! We’ll be given a close-up experience of how man and eagle have worked together for centuries in Central Asia, and you will have the opportunity to pose for photos holding the eagle yourself. There will also be a number of other traditional sporting demonstrations. 

Dinner will accompanied with a local Folclore Show

Overnight and dinner will be at nice yurt camp at the lake.

Day 4.  Issyk Kul lake South Shore – Karakol City

We’ll hit the road on an early start and start off the day’s adventures with a visit to Skazka Canyon, also known as Fairytale Canyon. This spectacular sandstone formation is like one giant playground for adults, and we’ll spend around an hour to climb all over the gorgeous canyon and take pictures of the rainbow-like formations. Afterwards we’ll continue on our way towards Barskoon gorge and Jeti Oguz gorge to get a gorgeous view of the Seven Bulls rock formation. In the late afternoon we’ll arrive in the cool town of Karakol, and check in to our awesome hotel. Dinner will be in an excellent local restaurant.

Day 5.  Karakol City – Jyrglan village

After breakfast in the morning we will have a city tour around main city attractions of Karakol such as Dungan Mosque and Russian Wooden Orthodox Church. 

For lunch we will try Karakol`s special dish called Ash Lian Fu

After, we are heading  from Karakol to Jyrgalan valley – a mountain village proved to be everyone’s favourite on all our tours, and we’re sure you’ll fall in love with it. We have a day jam-packed with adventure for you. You will visit famous Waterfall of Jyrgalan and do short hike to Tulpar Tash – a huge rock with horse foot prints. 

Overnight and dinner will be at nice guest house.

Day 6.  Jyrglan village – Cholpon Ata North shore of Issyk Kul lake

We depart from Jyrgalan village to Cholpon Ata city at the North shore of Issyk Kul lake after breakfast.

On the way we will visit  the ancient petroglyphs spread out over hundreds of boulders in an Open Sky Museum of petrogliphs, and pass over a mountain road from Semenov to Grigoriev gorges. One of the places of World Nomad Games that were held in Kyrgyzstan.

For lunch and overnight we will stay in Cholpon Ata city at the Issyk kul lake.

Overnight and dinner will be at nice hotel.

Day 7.  Cholpon Ata – Konorchek canyon – Bishkek

Our journey is coming to the end, but it is not a final yet. We will drive from Cholpon Ata city to Bishkek city and will stop and do a 2-3 hours easy hike to famous Konorchek canyon with beautifull rocks and clay formations.

In the evening we will arrive to Bishkek city, check in to the hotel and will meet together for Farewell dinner in local restaurant. 

Overnight and dinner will be at nice hotel.
